Skyforge a rather interesting looking free to play MMO has addressed questions relating to the possibility of a Linux port.

The "Community Manager" made a forum post addressing some questions and this was the top one:
QuoteToday's question: Will the game run on Linux or other non-Windows operating systems?

Answer: At this time Skyforge will be exclusively available on PC. However, it is possible that it could become available on other platforms and/or consoles in the future.

It's great that enough people are asking for them to address the issue of a Linux version, but it is the standard answer a lot of developer seem to give, so I'm not holding out hope.

I still find it highly amusing and annoying that someone can say Windows when discussing platforms as a question, and then say "PC" in the answer when they mean Windows. It just shows how deeply rooted "PC = Windows" is. It's something I fear we will never break out of, and it's why I now call it a dead horse argument.

Quoting: MohandevirAside from Champions of Regnum and from what I read there's a lot of critics about this game, it's really hard to find a good medieval MMORPG on Linux. Anybody has a clue why?

Well, it may not be what you're looking for, but I started playing Wakfu yesterday and it's pretty fun. Free-to-play with cartoony, isometric graphics and turn-based combat which flows smoother than I would have expected. More importantly here, it supports native Linux right out of the gate. It has some interesting concepts, like a world ecology and the complete absence of NPC merchants. It's a kind-of sequel to an earlier game, Dofus, if you've heard of that. Very popular in Europe as I understand it.

Quoting: Deformaljust no. Mail.ru group is owner of Skyforge. And their touch to every game transforms them into pay2win. It might be good game or bad game, I don`t know, but there will be huge amount donate. At least at CIS countries.

In fact, this company is a big, big trash holder. It buy all it can reach. All the polular Russian social services (ICQ, all social networks - Moi mir, Odnoklassniki, Vkontakte) was bought by it. Recently they interested in games. I never seen something useful made by Mail.Ru. Only fraud, PR, and buying another companies.

I love it when Developers mention PC only as if PC is synonymous with Windows, I think that they forget that the abbreviation for PC is Personal Computer; meaning Windows/Linux/Mac, it's basically OS agnostic. Stop claiming that games are for PC (Developers) and start using the correct terminology, which would be that your games are only for Windows. PC does not equal Windows.

QuoteWhat we meant by this is that it's not going to be available for consoles like the Xbox One, PS4, etc. But to clarify, it is being built for Windows and we are not planning to launch with MAC support, however, you could easily run bootcamp on Mac to run Skyforge. No plans to make it available on Linux at this point.

Guy doesn't even know what is the question that he is answering.
