I have to say, it all starts to look better. First came Humble with their ports, then we asked Kickstarter projects and they started saying they will have them too (yay for FTL!), then Wasteland 2 happened which made Unity come to Linux, now a LOAD of those will get ported. And there's Steam on the way! It's looking good.

Looks like it needs a lot more work, but it does look promising. :)

Arg! I'm tired of the misconception that Wasteland 2 "made" Unity come to Linux! It's impossible that Wasteland 2 would be funded and then -- voila -- a Linux version of Unity would be developed and materialize in the few months (weeks?) that it did! It was obvious that the Unity team had a Linux version in the pipe works for some time and it so happened to coincide with Wasteland 2's funding!

I guess it doesn't matter that much... LOL!

It doesn't matter too much since it's coming and that's what matters ;)

You are wrong and right at the same time cybercyst - they have had a Linux version of Unity around for a long time, but did not feel the need to release it because they believed the misconception that no one would buy games for Linux. But then Wasteland 2 forced their hand.
