Slime Rancher is an incredibly cute Early Access/In Dev title that has gained DRM Free support on the GOG store with Linux support.

I've played a little while of it on an earlier version and thought it was really cool. It's still a little early, but it's easily one of the nicer in development games I've played for a while. Check out my previous article on it to see my downfall.

Those Feral slimes are a real nuisance, eating all my other slimes :(

About the game
Slime Rancher is the tale of Beatrix LeBeau, a plucky, young rancher who sets out for a life a thousand light years away from Earth on the ‘Far, Far Range’ where she tries her hand at making a living wrangling slimes. With a can-do attitude, plenty of grit, and her trusty vacpack, Beatrix attempts to stake a claim, amass a fortune, and avoid the continual peril that looms from the rolling, jiggling avalanche of slimes around every corner.

Pretty addicting game, can't wait for it to get out of early access.

I hope they'll put it on GOG Connect, because I already own it on Steam, but it's nicer to have it DRM free.

It looks interesting but i'm usually not into sandbox games like this. Need more of a narrative to follow. If it is on for a good sale on GOG I may bite. Either way more DRM free Linux games are always a good thing.

Needs a demo, for the price I can't tell if i'll love or hate it without a demo.
