Stardew Valley is the very sweet genre mashing game involving farming, falling in love, exploring a dungeon and more. It's now DRM free for Linux on GOG and we have a few keys to give away.

The keys were generously provided to me by GOG.com directly, so big thank you to GOG for doing this with us!

How do I win a key? (COMPETITION IS OVER NOW)
Draw me a pretty picture of you farming and post it in the comments, include it with the img bbcode so we can all see it. You can host images at imgur.

The 11 best, funniest or whatever will win a copy (I pick them). Competition ends Friday 5th August 8PM UTC.

Don't be shy, I can't draw to save my life so I will start this competition off:

I know what you're thinking, I must be related to Picasso right?

Keep a note: Go to https://www.gog.com/redeem to use the key.

You’ve inherited your grandfather’s old farm plot in Stardew Valley. Armed with hand-me-down tools and a few coins, you set out to begin your new life. Can you learn to live off the land and turn these overgrown fields into a thriving home? It won’t be easy. Ever since Joja Corporation came to town, the old ways of life have all but disappeared. The community center, once the town’s most vibrant hub of activity, now lies in shambles. But the valley seems full of opportunity. With a little dedication, you might just be the one to restore Stardew Valley to greatness! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

My 5 year old daughter thought she could have a chance so here it is!

I think it's pretty fantastic, don't you?

Thanks for having the giveaway Liam!

Lol, oh well, my entry is neither finished nor on time, but it was fun. I'll throw it up on Sketchfab when I have a proper go at texturing/posing it. ^_^

Made on Kubuntu with Blender, using the Pico-8 color palette.

This was fun! I like drawing silly things. Who knew? I sure didn't. In fact I don't think I've drawn or painted anything since high school, and it's been a couple of decades. In any case, I'm sure this wasn't the last time I'll hijack the Cintiq and fire up mypaint.

More of these "competitions" please. And I don't even care if there are winners or prices. As long as they're not too serious.

I hope you're going to show us the "masterpieces"! I'm very curious...

You should open a "museum" (both physically and on the site) to show them, adding the winner(s) from the previous and the future competitions.

Anyway, congratulations to the winners!

P.S.: I've learned 2 things from this experience... First I should learn how to use GIMP & Krita and second I should buy Stardew Valley at the next sale :D
