The first major Stellaris patch 1.1 code-named "Clarke" is now available and brings plenty with it. I'm looking forward to diving back in.

It adds in a few new features, AI updates, graphics improvements, optimizations, bug fixes and more. They also reworked a couple user interface elements to be more useful.

One of the most exciting changes is that they have added in an option to scale the UI into the settings menu. Currently in beta, but the fact that they are doing it officially has really pleased me. I might not have to adjust my desktop resolution down to 1080p to play it! I think that excites me more than anything. I don't like adding in a mod just to do something like that, so great!

They have also added in a few new options for modders, mods that change races can especially be more interesting now.

Find the update post here with the full changelog.

I hope they "backport" UI scaling to other games (if they didn't already). Last time I tried playing CK2 or EU4 on the tv, it was a real pain.

What this game will be like in a year or two excites me, the amount of possibilities are almost endless. Oh and a total conversion mod is being made for Star Trek by the team that brought "Armada 3" to Sins of a Solar Empire.

Just awesome.

Oh and HoI4 out next week... damn it!

I've decided to put this game down for a while... Until Paradox releases some more content that will flesh out the game. It's a little too bare bones for me at the moment... It's kinda like Civ V when it launched (Pretty excited for Civ VI).

I'll be returning for the Asimov patch. Last I played, I was stuck in mid-game for about two hours, with basically nothing happening - it was a great 15 hours before that, though :D

Same for me, i will wait for the next content update, should be Asimov. I feel i "finished" my game after about 10-12 hours, without any will to start another. I prefer Star Ruler 2, in my opinion a hidden gem.
