Vlambeer have written up a blog post detailing what they have been up to recently and the news is good for us. Super Crate Box (freeware), GUN GODZ (freeware) & Serious Sam: The Random Encounter (Steam) will all get updates which include Linux support.

QuoteThere will be updated freeware versions of Super Crate Box and GUN GODZ. Both will also release for Mac and Linux.

There is an upcoming PC update for Serious Sam: The Random Encounter, and Mac and Linux builds will be added there as well.

Nice to see Vlambeer update their other titles and bring them to other platforms! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Linux needs more Serious Sam! I love SS3BFE!

I gave it a try with Wine and I have to say that I didn't enjoy it a lot.
Anyway it still has some serious fun (but not like SS Double D) and it should run on super low-end hardware too.

Waiting to try it again natively :)

Nice, one more item of my windows games list that will find its way to my "playable" games list.

Yay! It seems like ages ago since I played Serious Sam: TRE. Probably because it was ages ago that I still played games on Windows.

These quick little indie games are what it seems like I play most often because I don't have much time for games.
