Oh goodie, another new unit that's actually on our side. Let's take a look at The Skirmisher another unit you will find in the War of the Chosen [Steam] expansion coming to XCOM 2.

A soldier that managed to break away from ADVENT control, with extreme mobility thanks to the use of grapples. They end up with an ability to pull enemies out of cover, a little like what a Viper can do against your troops which is going to be extremely useful.

He sounds like a one man army, since you can level them up to make an action after every enemy action, which is a little like what the Alien Rulers can do in the Alien Hunters expansion.

I don't imagine they will be easy to recruit, I imagine there will be a special mission involved in getting them to join you.

This expansion is sounding better and better all the time. Really excited to play it! Will you be picking up a copy? Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

This sounds so cool, but these guys sound so powerful I'm afraid to see what new things we're going to be going up against to justify having them! :D

I'm a little concerned about game balance to be honest. Alien Hunters really broke that enough that I avoid playing with that DLC.

Do you mean in the player's favor, or against the player? I actually own Alien Hunters from the expansion pass but haven't gotten around to playing with it yet, heh.

Both, really. The game becomes really random; too much so for my taste. The random appearances by the three supervillains completely ruin the mission, and when they don't, the new weapons are overpowered and makes things too easy.

Will I need to start all over to access this new content? If so I'll stop my current playthrough right away.

As someone who loves reverse difficulty curves that actually sounds like a big plus to me, so thanks! :)
