Terminus A Classic City Builder Set On Another Planet

Posted by , 23 September 2013 at 6:54 am UTC / 6972 views
Terminus is a classic 'city-builder' set on a distant, inhospitable planet where there is only one colony, one chance, one future.

Starting from classic city builders of the genre, Terminus takes the terrifying leap into the frontier of space where every new game and new colonization effort bring a wildly different experience on a new, procedurally generated planet.

You are the administrator of the colony and it's your mission to keep humanity going by any means possible. Colonists are mouths to feed, supplies are dwindling and almost everything is non-renewable.

Sounds like fun to me, I do like city builders and mixing it in with a bit of sci-fi sure I'm sold!

Their Pitch

So they want $28,000CAD to hit the goal, not even a big goal compares with a lot so I hope they reach it, it's currently only trending towards ~56% of it's goal so it needs a big pick up if it is to hit it's goal, so be sure to spread the word if you like the look of it.

They have also release an update video showing off gameplay:

You only need to pay up $5CAD to secure a version of the game and with no Linux stretch goals I hope the Linux guys will be jumping all over it.

They actually ran an unsuccessful campaign on Indiegogo a while back. Looks and sounds like a fun game though and hope they get funded this time.
