Moebius: Empire Rising is the adventure game with a story written by Jane Jensen (Gabriel Knight, Gray Matter) and it's supposed to be releasing for Linux soon.

On the Pinkerton Road forums at the end of April this was mentioned:
QuoteFYI: The Linux version of Moebius is due to be released within the next two weeks by Phoenix Online. Kickstarter backers will be notified when it's available, and Phoenix will be posting announcements on their site and social media pages.

That two week mark is almost up and it has seen some activity on SteamDB around 9 days ago for the Linux version, so hopefully the game isn't too far off now.

It also looks like the studio Pinkerton Road is closing down due to less than expected sales.

The game was funded on Kickstarter where it gained $435,316 in funding to help make it happen.

About the game (From Steam)
This thrilling new adventure game from master storyteller Jane Jensen (Gabriel Knight, Gray Matter) and Phoenix Online Studios (Cognition, The Silver Lining) introduces Malachi Rector, an expert in antiquities whose photographic memory and eye for detail transform people and clues into interactive puzzles. Wow, I remember supporting this game in part because of its pedigree, but in large part to see it on Linux. I never played it and at this point figured I wasted my money.

Awesome, would love to see it in Linux... Although I heard is pretty bad written. Damn you, Jane Jensen!

I had given up on this one. Better late then never, I guess.

I backed it and played it on Windows. Was a bit disappointing considering Jane's previous games. Was on a somewhat smaller budget I guess.

The first Gabriel Knight was one of my best point-and-click experiences. Jane Jensen's games went downhill after that, but I'm still hoping for a fun time. I already have this on GOG, got it in a surprise sale where they were giving out random extra games, hope the Linux version gets added there, too.

Well... Gabriel Knight 2 was better than the first one and Gabriel Knight 3 had one of the best 3D ideas for graphic adventures I remember. The story and puzzles a bit worse than the others though. Gray Matter went downhill, I agree, although still enjoyable.

I remember hating the FMVs in 2 (the young guy GK was in stark contrast to Tim Curry's voice) and 3 was just bland. I liked them all, more or less, but I think 1 was the best of the lot.
