We are continuing the theme of having something from the past, something recent and something from the future in this week's instalment of Friday Livestream. So you will have all kinds of games available for your viewing pleasure and I'll try my best not to ruin your experience with my not-so-witty commentary.

Livestream available here: http://www.twitch.tv/gamingonlinux

So, what are these games? Well, our game from the past is Freespace 2 running on FS2 Open engine. After my adventures in Diaspora: Shattered Armistice Liam recommended me to buy FS2 and I completed it a couple days ago. As for the recent game, I'm fairly certain that you are happy to hear that I will be trying my luck in SOMA. Yes, a horror game on the Friday Livestream, that always goes so well. The last game of the evening is something you quite likely haven't seen before, because it's getting released on October 2nd and only less than a week ago we were given permission to talk about the game publicly and that game is a twin-stick shoot em up called Polychromatic. Reviews are embargoed until release day but I can show it to you on stream.

So, that's the agenda for today's livestream. Hopefully you will enjoy the show and have a nice weekend! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I'm a Linux gamer from Finland. I like reading, long walks on the beach, dying repeatedly in roguelikes and ripping and tearing in FPS games. I also sometimes write code and sometimes that includes hobbyist game development.
