The open source Itch games store app needs translators

The open source app for installing games from Itch.io needs your help with translations. I am in love with this little app.

One reason I used to love Desura so much was their open source app, although that turned sour due to licensing changes for contributors, and now Desura is bankrupt so Itch.io is now my favourite smaller store.

You can help make the Itch.io app better by helping translate it, go here for more info! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I can also recommend IndieGameStand, no desktop client, but a nice alternative supporting Linux from the very beginning.

That said, I like itch.io as well :)

It's a nice simple client. I use it on desktop node in SteamOS. Launches via Xephyr in BPM but game windows do not spawn. I submitted an issue to the github repo on request of one of the devs.

"I review all suggestions made, and approve or discard them." ... "but for other languages, esp. eastern-european/asian/middle-eastern, I'm reliant on both downvotes & upvotes, and reverse translation"

says guy in that announcement.

I think I'll be able to come with much better ways to waste my time :)

I just looked at it and saw that no one was doing the Danish translation. Something for me to do today, I guess :-)

EDIT: Or maybe not, I never got the registration completion email... Oh well, their loss.

Well, I was about to start Catalan translation, (steam didn't give us the right to translate for the "small" community), but it seems this project is almost done. It's sure more open.
