Developer DONTNOD has announced that they are working on another Life is Strange title! Exciting, considering how much I enjoyed the Linux port.

They said they've been working on a new Life is Strange since they released the boxed version, so it's been in development for a while already.

Hopefully Feral Interactive are on good terms with DONTNOD so that we will see it ported to Linux, here's to hoping!

Reading through spoilers here, I have just realised that the sequel might mean that DONTNOD will have to spoil it, which ending is "canonical".

I think they indicated back then that a potential follow-up would involve new characters.

I am not even sure if they can reuse the rewind time theme, as the first game established the flow of time as impossible to change in the long run. Which means we'd -again- end up with a game where nothing you do matters in the end.
