This War Of Mine Survival Game Preview Video, Looks Stylish & Awesome

By - | Views: 7,898
A fellow on youtube dubbed "Quill18" ran a rather long preview video of the new wartime survival game 'This War of Mine' from the Anomaly studio 11 bit.

This is the first game-play video I've seen of the game and the style is quite different to what I was expecting, and the tone is certainly a lot darker than I imagined too.

Official About
In This War Of Mine you do not play as an elite soldier, rather a group of civilians trying to survive in a besieged city; struggling with lack of food, medicine and constant danger from snipers and hostile scavengers. The game provides an experience of war seen from an entirely new angle.

What do you think? You can pre-order it from Games Republic now (using that link gives us a small credit with each purchase, we run the Linux store on it). Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Yeah, the game definitely has its very own style. And I like it alot. I only think they should've gone with painted portraits instead of photos.

I will keep an eye out for this game and pick it up as soon as it becomes available DRM-free somewhere else than Games Republic.

Very, very interesting concept unlike the ordinary war games.

Liked the initial concept and the preview looks very promising indeed. Indeed, cartoonish faces would be more relatable.
