SuperTux 0.3.5 already released two weeks ago, but i still want to publish a news item on this because I think it's important to feature the open source games.
SuperTux is a classic 2D jump 'n' run sidescroller game in a style similar to the original Super Mario games covered under the GPL. (Official description from the website)
To celebrate their 15 year anniversary they released a new version with a lot of new features.
Major changes (stated here):
move to SDL2 for graphics rendering
glow effects
new badguys: iceflame, ghostflame, livefire, goldbomb, smartblock
new bonuses: coinrain, coinexplode
statistics improved
icy island levels tweaked
new sounds
massive improvements to localization
efficiency tweaks
menus reworked
addon manager improved
new tilemap: halloween
new powerups: air- and earth-flower
support for horizontal gradients in levels (add (direction "vertical|horizontal") to your level)

In addition, you guys should have a list of games rumoured/suspected to be coming to be and confirmed to be coming to Linux-based operating systems... Perhaps via a link or your front page.
In my opinion, it'd "further the cause" if people could see some of the games - the so-called "AAA" titles in particular - that might be or are coming to Linux-based operating systems...

Edit: I misread your post and thought that you were suggesting a list of Linux games... Though the point remains the same, for the people behind Gaming on Linux.

There should be a link to that on the home page somewhere (or somewhere else that's pretty obvious), and you should add "rumoured" to the list... Not "wish" list stuff (ha, the list'd never end!), but games that have actual rumours associated with them (e.g. internal leaks, SteamDB entries, etc...).
With Steam OS just around the corner (well, the "official" release at least), it might drive up the excitement, generate interest and otherwise "further the cause" if gamers could see in a single list what is coming to Steam OS and what is rumoured to be coming to Steam OS...
