Doing my usual perusing through changelogs, game updates and so on I come across new ports. This time Wailing Heights caught my interest. A body-hopping, musical adventure game, set in a horrific hamlet of monsters.

One day Steam will make games that are new to Linux show up in our newly release section, but I fear that's low priority as it's been a problem for so long. Anyway...

It caught my eye due to how fantastic the art looks, and I do love games that have a comic-book style to them. Not only that, but it has some good voice acting by the sounds of it too.

About the game (From Steam)
A coffin-rocking, body-hopping, musical adventure game, set in a horrific hamlet of monsters.

Set in a peaceful, blood-curdling village blessed with gorgeous panoramic mountaintop views and the blissful stench of rotting corpses, Wailing Heights is home to the likes of vegan werewolves, hipster vampires, soulful zombies and all manner of well-adjusted supernatural taxpaying home-owners.

Man, there's some weird stuff out there. If it weren't for Linux, I'd still think that FPS, RTS, and racing were all there is for game genres.

Looks like Moonbeam City in Gothic style :)
