The day has come post-apocalyptic RPG fans, Wasteland 2 the massive hit on Kickstarter is finally going to bring out the promised Linux version!

The news comes hot off their Kickstarter where they outright stated it here.

They also stated the average player will run through Wasteland 2 in around 50 hours, wow that's a lot of time for your bucks! Of course it will take even longer if you do much exploring.

I know quite a few users have been waiting on this from your comments, so we are here as always to give you the good news.

You can pick up a copy of it right now here, sadly it seems the early access versions are only available if you buy it on Steam. The DRM free purchasing option doesn't seem to include a Steam key, only a retail download.

This was the very first game (of quite a few, actually) I Kickstarted, and I am SO glad it's nearing completion!
