Ways to grow the community?

Ok everyone the forum has a few nice regulars now who have stayed around so to you all Thank You.

Now i would like to grow the community and don't mind spending a bit if the idea is good.

So put forth any ideas you have on how to grow the forum a bit. Article taken from

The main problem i think is that if you type linux games into google your site is not listed or if it is its quite low down the pecking order.
Have you tried this page
The top 2 sites in this search are
maybe contact them and get some friend links on their sites
Eschalon website does friend links aslong as you link to them.

I think the cheapest way to go and would help your google rating would be to get links on as many similar websites as possible.

Congratz Gol now the 6th result on google if you search for gaming on linux. Unfortunately if you type Linux games it still doesn't appear until the 6th page of results.

The more links we get in places that are visited a lot - the better as google will index us constantly from there.
