It's the end of another busy week for Linux gaming, for many people the weekend is filled full of games.

For me, I shall be likely diving into some more Total War: THREE KINGDOMS. It's not perfect but it's by far the nicest Total War game I've tried in a very long time. Feral Interactive have done some incredible work on the optimisations for the Linux version that I remain very impressed.

I shall also be booting up my old friend Polychromatic, as I desperately try to beat the score of our contributor Samsai. Such a maddeningly streamlined twin-stick shooter, it's frustratingly good at killing me when I feel like I'm finally doing well.

So dear readers, what play button are you clicking on across this weekend and what do you think about it?

New expansion of Kerbal Space Program. I bought KSP early, so I get all expansions for free :)

Playing the fine Nelly Cootalot: Spoonbeaks Ahoy! HD when I find some time.

Ah, and some upcoming point and click game demo with science fiction setting I'm testing. Look forward for an article on your favourite Linux gaming site... ;-)

Well, I'm not so sure I'll be getting that much Linux gaming time in, going to be busy during the weekend with the LinCon gaming convent - board games, card games, pen-and-paper, that sort of stuff.

Going to try and do some more laps on Dirt: Rally though, seeing as I've figured out a workaround for it's inability to load my profile.
Or possibly try out some Dungeon Siege for nostalgia reasons (Probably 2 with the mod that adds the DS 1 content), seeing as I literally just last week found out that it's on Steam. Should hopefully work fine with D9VK too, which will be fun to test.

Atom RPG, hopefully trying out the new stuff they added. Probably going to try the new-old elusive target in hitman 2 too, and a few rounds of dead cells.

I'll do some Total War Three Kingdoms as well. First time playing any TW game for any amount of time, so I'm still a bit lost with it. I'll also continue my way through Irony Curtain. And there may be more Borderlands 2 at some point. Also need to try the new X4 update. So much to do and heat is expected for the weekend.

Just bought Dirt 4 this week, it is currently at 80%, so i will be playing this for the weekend and also some Basingstoke and maybe some Walking dead with Proton.

I am ashamed to admit, but it is "Pathologic 2" for me this weekend.

It is not available for Linux (albeit working on WINE 4.9 vanilla), currently features only one of the three planned(?) storylines and buggy as hell (memory leaks and freezes. Yes, on Windows it is the same; I've checked against some walkthroughs on YouTube. Disabling shadows help a lot), but playable (in 1024x768 virtual desktop) even on my humble GPU.

It is a shame this game is not available on Linux (and, as usual, I am not persuading anyone into spending money on a Windows game), because the atmosphere is there and the writing has improved a lot sinse the original.

Kinda amazed you're willing to admit this after your rants at me for covering a game played with Steam Play...

Currently pretty addicted to Immortal Redneck, but a sprinkle of War Thunder is always good and i think i'll try Verde Station, too.
