What are you playing this weekend?

Posted by , | Views: 20,549
It's the weekend already? Oh goodie! Time to dust off that game collection you've been neglecting due to work, school, family or whatever. Tell me what you're playing and what you think to it.

I am going to be playing a mixture of different games, but I am looking forward to properly diving back into XCOM 2 tonight which I have sadly let collect e-dust on Steam while I've been so busy with everything else.

XCOM 2 is just such a cracking time sink and all around great strategy game, love it.

I will also be playing Ballistic Overkill with the IRC crew tonight, so come join the fun. Might even livestream it so keep an eye on our Twitch to watch the silliness. Warning: We use rather colourful language when playing games online together.

SteamWorld Heist, FTL (suddenly) and Transmissions: Element 120. The last part of Dreamfall Chapters has been released today but the Mac/Linux versions still suffer from random dots issue and it's been half a year since I reported it. No response from RedThreadGames and no fix apparently. It even became worse in some regards. The game itself is great, the non-windows support... not so much.

I am really enjoying SteamWorld Heist! They have managed to make an almost perfectly balanced game...

I'm planning on playing some Dwarf Fortress again, hoping that this time it will not crash after hours without saving...
Should it crash again, I'll officially call my savegame "broken", and play something else. Probably Darkest Dungeon.

Nothing. I'm glued to the TV watching Le Mans.

I'll probably finish Dead Island DE this weekend if I don't watch every footy match ;).

It's still as fun as I remember it, only with less bugs and better looking .

I had just bought Unmechanical in the GOG summer sale and started playing it after I had installed it this morning. Couldn't stop before I had finished it (but it is waaaayyyy too short!)
So I'll need something else for the rest of the WE. Maybe This War of mine.
