Feral Interactive are wanting to know what games you want ported to Linux, hopefully taking your requests into real consideration.

See their Tweet below:

Denizens of Linux! Feed #THEREQUESTINATOR so our engineers can see all your requests in one place. Use the tag and you will be processed! pic.twitter.com/OHM6UWHPNN

They also asked on Facebook and Reddit.

It will be interesting to see if any of the user requests actually get ported. I am always sceptical of things like this, as it's essentially a hype machine for Feral and it doesn't necessarily mean anything will get ported as a result of requests there. Just keep that in mind when wildly requesting ports. Even so, it's a bit of fun and I am excited to see what Feral bring out over the rest of the year and beyond.

I've seen people constantly ask Feral about porting BioShock Remastered to Linux previous to this, but each request is met with the usual "we have nothing to share" type of reply. Considering it's a popular pick, I hope they look into that one. I would certainly appreciate BioShock Remastered on Linux!

So far it seems Doom, Bioshock and The Witcher 3 are popular choices.

What would you like to see?

Would have written this up four hours ago when I replied to their tweet, but updating some of the site code seemed to make time vanish!

It's already on Linux for a long time ago. But it is not mentioned on the Steam store page.
They took it off the page but after people who wanted the game kicked up a fuss they put it back, it's there now & works very well in Linux, it's just not that great of a game.

Bioshock Remastered is the same engine as Bioshock Infinite, right? So in that case Virtual Programming would be best suited to do the port. Feral would need to re-invent the wheel, i.e. make much more costs, and therefore the economic viability of such a port would be worse than when VP would do it.

Having thought about this a bit more, I agree with all the other people who wrote that it makes no financial sense for Feral to port games older than 2-3 years. If you wanted to play it, chances are you already bought and played it under windows or with a bit of luck with wine. So we need to request games that have come out in 2017 or 2016, or better yet, games that are about to come out this year or in 2018.

So, here's my revised list:

Cyberpunk 2077
Kingdom Come: Deliverance
GWENT
GOG Galaxy (only because GWENT will require it, but for it to make sense, it *must* allow cross-platform multiplayer, ie play with folks on windows)
Assassin's Creed: Origins
Skull and Bones
South Park: Fractured but Whole
Far Cry 5
Red Dead Redemption 2 (very unlikely it will come to PC at all, seeing how it is a console exclusive)
Final Fantasy 7 Remake
StarCraft Remastered
Call of Duty: WW2 (absolutely with cross-platform multiplayer)
FIFA 18
God of War (very unlikely it will come to PC at all, seeing how it is a console exclusive)
Overwatch
Star Wars Battlefront 2
GTA 5 / Online (this is still a popular game)
Star Citizen
Mount and Blade: Bannerlord
The Crew 2
Phoenix Point
Unreal Tournament
Life is Strange: Before the Storm
Life is Strange 2

I wonder what you want with the EA and UbiSoft games, which are not ported by Feral. No way.

Quoting: rkfgI'd like them to port other parts of the already ported games:
Life is StrangeLife is Strange: Before the Storm
Tomb RaiderRise of the Tomb Raider
Bioshock InfiniteBioshock 1/2

All of those games are or hopefully will be great. If not those then DOOM 2016 would do, especially because it looks like a potential low effort / high quality port without performance hits. Vulkan rules!

If I remember well, Feral didn't port Bioshock Infinite to Linux, I think it was VP... So VP must be asked port the remastered Bioshock's to Linux.
Uhh, yes, I forgot about that. But still, my comment doesn't imply they've ported all those games only that it would be nice to see other parts of what's already ported (doesn't matter by whom). Could be that VP offered a better deal in terms of money and were allowed to make the port, I dunno.

Every body told the same but my opinion count as one, I like adventure / RPG, and many all games

PES 2017
Street fighter (any 4 or 5 ) or tekken 7
Rockstar 2014
Resident evil
prey
Vanquish
Bayonetta
Quantum break
Dishonored 2

Here some, Thanks for this poll, see you later o /

looks like they didnt got the message, people are replying here instead of on twitter...
The Feral devs are well known for browsing and posting on this site, I will bet they are already going through these 6 pages of suggestions.

well, if you have an twitter account its better safer than sorry, but yeah, i saw then here once or twice

On a side note, is there any point in it? Do Feral actually try asking owners about porting most requested games? I.e. for example, what was the result of requesting The Witcher 3? Feral were asked to port it for a long time already.
