It's sharing time today, as sharing is caring right? What have you been playing recently, and what do you think?

I've been playing a lot of Rocket League. I know, shocking right. The game is by far my favourite at the moment and playing it online with a few people from the community is insanely fun.

I also started Firewatch during the last two livestreams, and it's actually pretty good. The banter between the characters is quite natural and amusing. I am looking forward to continuing that on Friday for the next stream.

Now there's an idea. I've played all official single player campaigns a handful of times, but haven't touched the game since I switched to Linux a few years ago.
We're playing with the Frozen Throne addon and version 1.26 as most community maps aren't patched for version 1.27. And we mostly play funmaps like various tower defense maps and such.

Aragami

Very fun stealth game, and one I may actually finish. Although I am stuck on the second boss and can't seem to get past her. It works perfect with my DS4 controller, I tried my steam controller but a game like this, for me, really needs that second stick, I couldn't get used to the touch pad for this game :P

I've also been playing DOW 2 (my first Warhammer game), really good strategy game. I'm hoping DOW 1 gets a port because I cannot get it to run in wine whatsoever and I hear it is more of a traditional RTS.

I've been playing Shadwen. Great fun, and the stealth works, although it can get a bit slapstick sometimes, with barrels, crates and wagons flying through the air and then hearing the stock guard responses of "I thought I saw something there...".

Also nailed a bit of time into Battlevoid:Harbinger. It's a slow starter, but has a really nice FTL vibe after a few hours. I think I might be a hooked now, 9 hours in.

Finally, I got round to playing Kingdom Rush: Frontiers. Like the original, only better. Probably the best tower-defence game out there.

And for some reason, I found myself playing a few hours of Borderlands 2. I think that was a subconscious response to hearing Feral's announcement regarding Mad Max. Bring on the 20th!

Dawn of War II, and I'm completely blown away.

The last time I fired up Windows it complained about a virus after freezing for 5 minutes, not that I've been playing any games in Windows for ages, I only keep it around for Lightroom & Photoshop.

All my gaming for over a year has been in Linux, most recently I've been obsessed with beating Time Clickers, I want 100% achievements & right now I'm at 92%.

I'm currently playing Shenzen I/O and I love it.

Unfortunately it has not been covered on GoL so far.

The game is in the same vein as TIS-100 (same developer - Zachtronics).
While it's currently marked "Early Access" it's actually done - including the campaign.
I didn't face a single issue so far (apart from the PDF manual not loading directly from in-game)

If you like(d) TIS-100 go for it.
Such a great game.

War Thunder (still). Hexcells Infinite. Every now and then a brief race with Distance.

Mordheim: City of the Damned through Wine. Love the game. I am a huge fan of the tabletop game and while the digital version is not a straight adaptation, much to my chagrin, I actually think it works really well. The changes they made work better for a video game.

Playing hacknet and Trine, installed Triune in order to use the steam controller but I still need the keyboard and mouse... completely forgot about how the game goes xD

I intend to finish both games as well as trine 2 and 3

Loving my new Arch based config, still some minor issues, but will solve them on time :)
