ShmerlThe Witcher 3 is still plagued by the freeze bug on Mesa.

What bug is that?

I ran Witcher 3 in wine 2.15 on a Ryzen 5 1600 + RX 580 and 16 GB of RAM with a decent frame-rate on ultra settings. The only thing that I noticed was that there were still some graphical errors with missing floors around holes in the ground like wells and cellar stairs but they were pretty rare.

Feel free to test, and add your comments there. This bug is completely game breaking for me, so I've stopped playing TW3 until it will be fixed.

I tried the saves from Shmerl @43273. And the freeze is happening
for me as well. I last compiled Mesa on Aug. 19th. , for my RX 460.

I thought may be newer amdgpu from display code branch can fix it, but I didn't try that custom kernel yet.

Can you please comment in the bug with your findings? Developers need some reminder that this bug is still here
