Your weekend look at what's on sale and what you can try free

Posted by , | Views: 6,843

While the Halloween sales are over, plenty of stores still have some big and interesting game sales going on with lots of Linux games going cheap.

Over on GOG they just started a big made in Poland sale allowing you to snatch some bargains like:

Steam is having a few Free Weekend deals going, where you can download and try a game free with a discount if you decide you like it. These include: Cities: Skylines, American Truck Simulator, PAYDAY 2 and for Steam Play there's also The Elder Scrolls Online and Just Cause 4 Reloaded.

Additionally on Steam they have Shadow of Mordor GOTY Edition with 50% off, worth trying out with the recent Vulkan beta.

Humble Store is doing a Warhammer Week and a Versus Evil publisher sale with multiple titles also supporting Linux on sale including:

There's also various DLC on sale there too, another chance to complete your collection. Humble also have a couple bundles going like Day of the Devs Bundle 2019 with Battle Chef Brigade, Minit and ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove and the Linux & BSD Bookshelf Bundle.

Whatever you're clicking on this weekend, enjoy!

Hard West is a really nice game, a tactical turn based similar to Xcom but in the west. Though I've never managed to finish it, I left the last mission and started playing other games, and I forgot everything. Now I have to replay some missions to refresh my memory or otherwise if you do the final missions without some training on your backlog it's really difficult.
But it has several endings, different story lines... so in a sort of way I did finish it. I'm missing 1 story line mission to complete it 100%.

I second that, the game is amazing. And the graphics are beautiful without having performance issues. It is a real jewel.
