It would be nice if they got their games on Steam, Itch and GOG, otherwise I'm not really too bothered.

You can buy their games on Desura or USC, and some of them are available in their online store.
Probably, you can ask them if they plan to sell their games in the different stores.

Personally, I am happy that one Runesoft is planning to port this game to Linux. Many of us remember that nine years ago there were not enough pre-orders, and they decided to cancel their plans to port Chicago 1930 to Linux.

""[theres another programmer]doing a Mac port, but the game uses the same library code as Robin Hood did, so hopefully when hes done porting it to the Mac, I can do a Linux build. I must stress I havent been asked to do this yet, but undoubtedly I will as it should be an easy quick job.

We are also planning to sort out RH as you may have noticed, the installer is rather bad and theres a few other glitches Ive been told, especially if you use a newer build of SDL. They were found by a guy who is working on a LinuxPPC port of the game, so when hes ready with that, we should be sorting out a better installer etc for the game."

I wouldn't touch Desura, since they went bankrupt and left the website up to rot. So that's not really an option, they could at least use Itch.

Is Chicago 1930 a traditional strategy game or more like Commandos? I remember seeing news of the game back in the day but never put my hands on it.
