Well, I can not make a fully educated judgement until I can hear it in the game, but I think that track would do better.

The strange thing is it reminds me of the original Age of Empires music somehow. :confused:

What exactly do shaders do?

They circumvent the standard way polygons are drawn and give you full control over it. You can use it for per-pixel lighting and for normal maps and the like. And if you don't know what you're doing or want to be creative you get something like my picture.
