Thanks. I'm not sure if, as the name implies, you would find any core dumps here. Steam isn't always consistent re: where it puts s* .. err stuff :P

I disable core dumps, so it's always just text files for me..

UPDATE:

I just switched to Gnome3 from I3 and now it runs fine
