Sweden:

Stage 1: one spin
Stage 2: double spin, spin with reverse needed, regular spin - terrible stage for me :D
Stage 3: clean
Stage 4: clean
Stage 5: overshot the corner, hit the fences, another overshot for corner, into the snowbanks with +15 sec penalty
Stage 6: clean
Stage 7: clean

Almost fell asleep at the wheel... er, thumbstick, but hey, I've done worse in Sweden. The fourth stage was where I hit my groove. Too bad I lost it in the fifth.

First post updated, someone from Estonia beat me, i wonder who he is. he has lots of races according to the info on the dirtrally page :D and i wonder if he/she even is using linux at all. Anyway at least i have a challenge now :)

Hi, I requested to join the league. My name will be probably CallMeRoot, not jegmancs.
Accepted. Welcome to the league!

I am looking forward to some friendly competition.
We're all friendly, but only the Estonians seem to get competitive. ;)

I f**ck**d up on Monaco!:><: I felt off a cliff on the third :><: Now I'm done for the rest of the season.
Didn't knew that. So if you car gets destroyed you are done, no spare cars in the service area?

no, you are not done for the rest of the season, just monaco is retired. its like in real rallies, if you crash it too hard theres no way to go on either and in monaco its the case of the cliffs, no way spectators can pull car back onto the road from there :D

Like Xpander said, you're only out for this event. I bet this has happened to most of us in Monaco at some point. The tiniest mistake can result in a DNF on those narrow alpine roads.
Arnvidr Sep 20, 2017
Did that in the second turn of the first stage of my first monthly event :p
Liam Dawe Sep 20, 2017
I really need to participate, but damn I suck.

Practice would make you suck less. ;) I've played about 130 hours now, and I'm only starting to get a handle on the more difficult cars. No amount of practice is going to make my reaction times much better though.

Monaco done by me.. Terrible ... i dont like tarmac :D

S1: spin
S2: small crash, not much time lost
S3: spin
S4: clean
S5: 2 times backwards onto snowbanks, both on hairpins, 1 was close to dnf;
S6: crash to the wall, rear right puncture on the start of the last sector;
S7: spin
Edmene Sep 22, 2017
The best Monaco event for me, at least compared to all the times that I went downhill in the snow or ice sectors.

stage 1: clean
stage 2: clean
stage 3: clean
stage 4: clean
stage 5: 1 spin and 2 crashes (both almost dnf)
stage 6: 1 small crash
stage 7: clean
tuubi Sep 23, 2017
Finished just a bit ahead of Edmene, despite managing only one or two clean stages. Driving the modern four wheel drives doesn't feel quite as satisfying to me as some of the other classes, and of course Monaco always does its best to try to murder me. Anyway, looking forward to the next event.

EDIT:
This was my first ever online racing and I am happy to participate. :)
Happy to have you in the league! We've had events with only four or five participants, but I think this is still the longest running GOL league to date?

I wish more people from the 31 would race.
That would indeed be nice. The more the merrier.

I guess that you didn't lose so much time in the stages as I did in the 5th stage.
After losing so much time in stage 5 I lost confidence and this hampered my chances of retrieve some of the time lost.

Indeed, that would make the league more diverse and fun.

Has it already started? The game shows me that's still 10 hours left to start.

hasn't started, thatswhy i wrote that its next :)

theres small cooldown time between the events it will start on monday
Ehvis Sep 24, 2017
I apparently didn't do too bad on my first run since two months. Since I didn't go flying in Monaco, I probably will do so in Greece. :D
Edmene Sep 25, 2017
An absolutely bad run.
Stage 1: 45s penalty.
Stage 2: clean.
Stage 3: 15s penalty and crash.
Stage 4: spin.
Stage 5: 15s penalty, two spins and a roll.
Stage 6: 30s penalty.
Stage 7: 45s penalty.

A record of penalties for me of 2m30s and a bunch of other accidents.
Arnvidr Sep 28, 2017
Had about a minute's worth of penalties as well, but was feeling somewhat ok about it all anyway, until the 6th stage where I started crashing a lot. Car was running out of will power when finishing the last stage.
