[GOG] Unable to launch This War Of Mine Soundtrack Edition
mt7479 commented on 11 June 2018 at 5:13 pm UTC

Could any owner of said game try launching it ? Possible with a "supported" version of ubuntu ?
Bought it on summer sale and if I try to launch it i get the following error:

./start.sh Running This War Of Mine ./start.sh: line 19: ./TWOMLinux: No such file or directory

./TWOMLinux is inside the game subfolder and has exec permissions. I get the same if i try to run the file directly.
Running debian testing myself, but i figure that shouldn't be a problem.

sha265sum of the file:

9fa859acac499836a4a8edfcc587539ee4c8438820b600aa5ae034ec2a8a6920 this_war_of_mine_en_4_0_0_29_01_2018_18230.sh

Thanks!

I've pointed this out to my GOG contacts to look at for you.

Thanks, very much appreciated. Hopefully it's not a fail on my side.

What does it say if you run "file TWOMLinux"?

Meh, was missing the 32-bit libraries.

Congrats for finding the issue; the error message is less than helpful .

Reminds me of my first time using a 64bit distro and many games were 32bit, good times

Issuing file for the second time finally started turning my cogs
Conveniently gog lists everything that is needed, just not where I was looking (support section).
