I found those two:
https://launchpad.net/~paulo-miguel-dias/+archive/ubuntu/mesa
https://launchpad.net/~oibaf/+archive/ubuntu/graphics-drivers
Im more of a casual gamer and wonder if there will be improvements using ppa Vs whatever Ubuntu ships. Looking for a stable experience so I would prefer release builds.

When it comes to mesa it's good to have a very recent version at the moment as they fix things very quickly. Those fixes takes too long to reach the default ubuntu repositories.

That was my understanding as well. Do you use release or development ?
