Madden 19 works in Linux
rcgamer commented on 16 May 2019 at 12:14 am UTC

I got Madden 19 to work using Lutrisl. I had to install Origin using the install link on the Lutris website. After Origin installed and I logged in I started downloading Madden and paused after a second and shut down origin. I then went to my configuration for Origin and changed the wine version to proton 4.2.
I had tried installing with the default before and Madden would get 22% but wouldn't install the necessary support files (directx and whatnot).
Anyway here is a video showing it working. It works great so far.

Hmm, I thought it would at least interest a few people since I have not seen it working on Linux anywhere else. Guess there's no sports gamers here.

Thanks a lot! I had given up on Madden, but now I am able to play it.
Very nice!

Finally, there is a solution to the problem) I really like to play Madden, but I did it only on Windows, now I can play on Linux) Thank you.
