pathfinder kingmaker save bug

I have a weird bug with saving my game. Chapter 1 is perfectly fine, but as soon as the Kingdom management is unlocked whenever i hit any type of save (and sometimes even if i enter kingdom management on the minimap) the screen goes black and only the UI renders well. I tried changing graphics options, it did not seem to have any effect. The only two things that seem to fix this is quitting to main menu or desktop, but only until the next save.

I tried looking for solutions, but have not found anything so far.
