here is my new result with a new setup, Ryzen 5600X, Radeon 5600XT

(according to some online results this card does 18.000-19.000)

so maybe, the rx 570 did exceptionally good? because this card is not 30% faster than a 570, it's a lot more faster, in some games even 100% faster.

anyway results are not comparable because previously I was using an older version of 3DMark.

Does anybody have an idea of whether Timespy can be run, and do we know why?

Decided to participate.

My specs are: Radeon RX 5700 XT, Ryzen 9 3900X, 32 GB RAM, Linux Mint 20.3, Kernel 5.17.4, Mesa 22.0.2, Proton 7.0-2.

My score is 14 131.

Also, Fire Strike Extreme gives my system 9 229 score and Fire Strike Ultra gives 5 369.

Can't compare to Windows.

Edit: not sure why my image is not shown on the page...

Edit 2: fixed image link.

Upgraded CPU (Ryzen 3900X to Ryzen 5900X). All other hardware and software is the same as in post above.

Common Fire Strike score improved quite a lot (14 131 --> 19 605, 38% increase!).

Extreme and Ultra improvements wasn't as great, but still... :). (9 229 --> 10 089 for Fire Strike Extreme and 5 369 --> 5 417 for Fire Strike Ultra).

ok same machine as before Radeon 5600XT and Ryzen 5600X
still using Proton version 5, because I cannot get it to launch with other versions. This is Jammy with Kisak ppa, linux kernel 5.17.11, only thing I oc'ed is tweaked a little PBO2.

more than 2K points of improvent quite nice, probably most of it comes from Mesa improvements.

Upgraded GPU (RX 5700 XT --> RX 7900 XTX).
So my current specs are: Radeon RX 7900 XTX, Ryzen 9 5900X, 64 GB RAM, Linux Mint 21.1, Kernel 6.2.1, Mesa 23.0.0, Proton 7.0-6.
Common Fire Strike now gives me 30 635 score.

Fire Strike Extreme improves to 22 369 and Fire Strike Ultra - to 14 068 (Heh, just a year ago common Fire Strike was giving me 14 131, and now Ultra is giving almost the same score... :)).

Spoiler, click me
