Microsoft xCloud allegedly coming to web browsers, potentially making it playable on Linux

Toucharcade reports that Microsoft is working on a browser-based xCloud client. The motivation seems to be to get it on iOS, since Apple banned game streaming apps from the App Store, but if true it would have the side effect of making it playable on Linux.
