I think that on the forums there's only "mark as answer" there is no solved mark. But anyway, it all boils down to if it is a good answer? is it easy for a newbie to setup this workaround?, I think yes... it doesn't involve any other tweaking or tinkering from the user other than clicking on steam settings... and does the game have good performance with proton? yes it does, it's hard to tell the difference between the native version. So I think overall is a good answer in this case because a newbie user could have a good experience with proton running this game.
