bought some AMD stocks months ago best decision ever... seems it's doing very very well
I think this whole thing is because AMD has had stellar earnings on 2021 so far.

When you look at the Steam survey, AMD only has 16%.

Even during this GPU shortage, you can still get an AMD GPU if you want.
Sadly, games are developed with NVidia in mind and AMD as a second thought. Because of this, I won't consider an AMD GPU and honestly it would take a lot to convince me and apparently most gamers as well to make the switch.
For what it's worth, I'm personally very happy I switched to AMD a few years back.
Performance-wise AMD drivers are on par with Nvidia drivers. I have a 5600xt and sometimes on some benchmarks it's beating a 2060 super. The only reason for getting an Nvidia Gpu would be RTX, but only if you need it right now, RTX support on AMD gpu's will be sorted in the coming months probably.
Also they say that next gen navis RX 7xxxx will have a huge increase in performance and the rumour says that they are beating Nvidia cards on RTX.
So if you are still not convinced then wait for next year release of next gen cards, from what I read, they would be twice as faster, than the previous generation (let's hope it's not twice as faster in nvidia language lol, because that's bs)
