Hi all, with work on the PC Info and user stats charts still slowly going on in the background - I want to know what options you think are missing from it or what needs changing?

Maybe it could be interesting to add an option to choose whether the PC was built by the user from individual parts, bought from a seller with GNU/Linux preinstalled (like System 76, Tuxedo, or Think Penguin), or bought somewhere else.

Launchers used? Steam, Heroic, Itch, all the GOG clients, whatever else is out there.

Speaker and headphone + mic setup? camera?
voice client? like mumble, matrix, telegram, etc.
IRC or other for cross game chat? and if it's self-hosted or paid for (i.e. i recall $5/mo murmur)

internet speed? wired or wireless?

OS & game drive set up? type, speed, total storage capacity, RAID.

if someone has another desktop, NAS, etc for personal use or server? besides a phone, unless it's a phone dedicated for games maybe?

@PlayingOnLinuxphone
yeah, I remember playing a few simple games on my Librem 5 USA. Never tried too much but it held its own.

Quoting: GuestHmm I would be interested to know the keyboard and mouse form factor. Has the keyboard extra keys for F1-F12 or num-block? Programmable keys or analog keys? Such kind of information. And for mouse things like extra thumb mouse buttons, 4-way mouse wheel and such. It is like asking "what controller you are using", just for the default equipment. I think it is even more useful than asking for the specific models (just as you ask for resolution and refresh rate and not for monitor models).
Another data point: wired or wireless?

Finally filled mine out yesterday. My CPU wasn't listed as one of the options. Was also surprised to see window managers all grouped under one listing.

Some updates

- New admin panel making it super-duper easy for me to add gamepads, cpus, gpus etc.
- VR sets moved over to the new multi-select system, you'll need to re-add yours but this is a much better way now.

More to come, had to sort the long overdue admin side first. No more diving directly into the database <_<
