Streets of Rogue, my personal pick for 2019 just expanded with a new update now out. This makes the Level Editor and Steam Workshop support fully live for everyone.

Now you can download entirely new characters, "chunk" packs which are basically room layouts that it will add into your run through to make it even more varied and full campaigns where people can come up with a crazy story for you to follow. You can see the developer give it a little overview in the below video:

Once the Steam Workshop fills up I'm going to dive in, take a good look and hopefully find some fun creations to show off here on GOL in a later article. I always felt like it needed it this too. As absolutely insane as Streets of Rogue can get, a developer only has so much time and a community built up around a game can often come up with something amazing the original developer never imagined so I'm keen to see what kinds of chaos people can cook up for one of my favourites.

You can buy Streets of Rogue on Steam (30% off), Humble Store and GOG.

The level editor will be available on GOG too? Many games have one on Steam but not on GOG (or at least not the Linux one).
