Today NVIDIA put up a rather exciting blog post talking about RTX - with Arm. Not only that, they've showcased it using Linux too which is pretty amazing.

A day many have been waiting for is here. Following on from NVIDIA releasing the NVIDIA 470.42.01 Beta driver that finally supports hardware accelerated OpenGL and Vulkan rendering on Xwayland, a brand new release of XWayland is out now.

With the absolutely huge NVIDIA 470 driver release now out the door, NVIDIA has just put up a fresh release of their open source NVAPI interface.

This is it. The big one! NVIDIA has today released the NVIDIA 470.42.01 beta driver which brings in lots of fun new things and further improves their Linux support.

While DLSS has been technically available in the NVIDIA drivers for Linux for some time now, the missing piece was support for Proton which will be landing tomorrow - June 22.

Seems like NVIDIA are going all-out for the upcoming 470 driver series for Linux. As they've stated that finally async reprojection will be supported on Linux.
