Thanks to a GOL supporter I've had a chance to check out 'Niche - a genetics survival game' and breed my tribe of weird looking animals.

I sadly had to wait on playing Heart&Slash for a while as it was broken, but the developers finally fixed it. I took a look at what it's like to play as Heart the robot.

Siralim 2 certainly caught my interest with being able to control monsters and battle with them, as it's a type of game I've wanted on Linux, so is it any good?

I love future sci-fi games, especially when they look as brutal and beautiful as Jupiter Hell. It will go to Kickstarter sometime soon and Linux is a first class citizen.

Killing Room is an upcoming rogue-like FPS full of violence and black humour, which doesn't take itself too seriously. The game will be launched in October, and there won't be Early Access, though they promise to keep adding features and fixing bugs.

The Curious Expedition is a roguelike expedition simulation set in the late 19th century, it is soon to leave Early Access and has full Linux support.

There is a lot of good news regarding NeuroVoider, which is an interesting title that was previously covered on GOL, and after being in Early Access during these months it's finally releasing on 31st August.

Darkest Dungeon is a brutal game and I did enjoy what I tested of it. The Linux version should now feel a lot better too.

Barony, a pretty cool looking 3D first-person roguelike has opened up the engine under the GPL license and is now on github.

I feel bad for the Battlestation: Harbinger developer, as I think it's a pretty nice name but another developer has coined the "Battlestation" term so they have to change their name. They will also be doing a free update soon.

Dwarf Fortress has joined in on the 64bit fun with a brand new build that features native 64bit support.

Harebrained Schemes third person action game NECROPOLIS may actually come to Linux, they say it's on their list of things to do.

I love everything to do with the film Aliens, so a roguelike inspired by it is a must play for me. XENOMARINE shows some early promise.

I'm going to be honest, I was not a fan of the original Heroes of Loot as I foundnd it too repetitive, bland and easy. Heroes of Loot 2 thankfully has improved pretty much everything.

Blacksea Odyssey is a violent top-down rogue-lite space shoot'em up RPG brimming with colossal creatures and runic technologies. I've played it myself a number of times and I think it's quality fun.

Captain Forever Remix is a really cool spaceship building and combat game that has supported Linux for a while, but it's now finished and it's out.

Oh yes! I have been really looking forward to doing some exploring in RymdResa and now it's available for Linux & SteamOS with a nice discount.

Fancy taking on some insanely big space creatures with harpoons? Blacksea Odyssey will scratch that itch right off.

CRYPTARK is probably one of the best sci-fi roguelike shooters I've played for a while and this new update is fantastic. You are now able to do a co-op campaign if you have two gamepads handy.

Duskers, an Indie sci-fi 'rogue-like' strategy game from Misfits Attic has now left Early Access. This is my review of the game after having spent a week and some 5 hours with it.
