That's how people are justifying it, but the reality is, you are paying $30 to beta test a free to play game.

We know exactly for what we are paying for, and I'm more than happy to support GGG with $30.
I've played POE1 since ever, spent maybe 10$ for thousand of hours and a lot of fun.

POE2 runs quite flawless on Linux with proton (about 7 hours in game now), it supports vulkan, devs are friendly, open and passionate. What would I want more than that?
