I'll probably be giving the tenth generation of consoles a miss... Nintendo is partially to blame with their ridiculously over-priced "Switch 1.5 labeled as a Switch 2"; but it's mostly because the entire ninth generation of consoles has been a cruel joke at the expense of gamers in so many different ways.
And I've been religiously buying consoles each generation since the days of the Atari 2600 (i.e. the second generation of consoles), many of which I still have.
I don't know what the future of gaming is (though I have some ideas), but I feel like consoles are moving away from whatever the future is.
