This just goes to show how scared Nintendo are of developers making better versions of Nintendo-style games for other platforms.

This just makes me want to support the alternatives even more. We need better alternative versions of Animal Crossing and Splatoon next. We need the consumer to know that they don't have to buy Nintendo hardware to get these experiences anymore.
