Maia is a personal favourite as a game I really love to see grow and it just got a big update. It comes with lots of new and very useful features.

Maia, the colony building simulation from Simon Roth has a huge update which includes Lava and colonist relationships. It’s sounding more and more like a heavily simulated version of ‘the sims in space’.
I had the pleasure of talking to Simon Roth, a developer I've followed for quite some time now about his game 'Maia', about Linux and other bits. Linux sales for Simon are 'approaching ten thousand', which is impressive.
The client for the game store itch has been updated again and it has some really useful stuff this time.
I am keeping an ever watchful eye over Maia hoping that it eventually gets polished up enough to be something great. This new update sure does sound nice, but sadly the game still lacks a lot of polish.
I'm always impressed by the level of effort put into 'Maia' and I think once it's finished it will be great. It has problems for sure, but this latest small patch aims to start sorting them out.

Maia version 0.57 is now available and it brings diseases and conditions which you will need to diagnose and treat.
I absolutely love the style of Maia and it's pleasing to see this gorgeous colony building sim progress. This new update is pretty decent too.
Maia promises to be quite an interesting colony builder when it's finished, and I'm finally starting to see it come together with the brand new 0.55 Pressure Drop release.
