I have little hope but may be it will also come with Linux/SteamOS support.

I'd have waited for one more day until the Steam Summer Sale starts since there's a chance, albeit tiny, that it'll be released then alongside with a nice discount.

But yeah, general message as usual, never buy something on a promise. First it doesn't count as a Linux sale weakening the platform and second it might never get released..

Pre-ordering a digital product is simply loaning the company money. Sometimes with a worthless gift in return. It still baffles me why anybody would do that.

There were a few rare occasion where I would have considered it, but instead those companies chose to finish the game before asking for money.

It's a shame Valve won't at least try to get VR support via the Vive into SteamOS. Windows was already a much better platform for games and this unfortunately makes it even more appealing.

Megapolis, a classic city simulator is now on Steam with Linux support
By Storminator16, 22 June 2016 at 12:34 pm UTC

Quoting: cRaZy-bisCuiTIt actually looks like a browser game or 90s city builder.

Is that a bad thing or good thing? Or is it a matter of opinion which bleeds into the first question?

I want to understand!

Nice! I love Pacman even though I didn't play it for at least a decade. I don't think it will be on sale since it has just been released. Let's wait and see.

I totally added this high up on my wishlist and deleted 40 games and reorganized my list in prepartion for the steam sale.

It looks like a blast. It's nice to see more full controller support games and local co-op too.

It seems from the screenshots it looks like you can only build in the small diamond? That feels sorta limiting.

Third of valve? 33.3333333333333333333333333333...%?
i see to much 3's, and that number become strange from a company that hate number 3. Is it a hidden message? it means... HALF LIFE 3 CONFIRMED!

Btw, those that talking bad about vr without testing, really, test it somehow. In just 30 seconds you will see it's the future of gaming, there is no way back anymore.

Quoting: HoriFor me, categories work just fine... I have an "All", "Windows-only", <insert-genre-category-here>, "Junk", "Unplayed", etc... I just put the games I don't need in the Junk category and remove them from all the other

I've done this aswell, I have A, B, C, D and Z and I personally rate my games so I play the cream of the crop. The problem is for some reason Steam has deleted my categories probably 3 or 4 times.

More recently I've start to tag according to 1 Player, 2 Player, 3 Player and 4 Player because I like to do 3 Player Local Multiplayer with friends in my living room.

Quoting: ElectricPrismI wish I could delete this from my library but I can't.

It's easy actually since half a year or so. In the Steam client menu (no need for the website support) go to
>Help >Steam support

There select "Games, software, etc." Then type in the name of the game in the search box below. Select the game listed under "PRODUCTS". Then select "I want to permanently remove this game from my account". DONE!

Generally you will be noticed if the game was part of a bundled key/purchase, because it will delete all other bundled games with that *specific* purchase. (Example: Bought Valve Complete, want to delete Portal (why?), that will delete Valve Complete Pack entirely.) But you will have to tick a checkbox and you will be warned about this.

Thank you kind sir, I think I got it in a Humble Bundle, and I played through it extremely sleep deprived all the way until 7:00 AM, some people are more sensitive but this game made me feel a special kind of creepy, and I probably had nightmares too afterwards so going back after all the hype I would have just been like nope.

There should be a "slit your wrists" tag on steam as some media makes you loose faith in humanity.

I wish I could delete this from my library but I can't.
It's some kind of art. It may not be for everyone, but I enjoyed the game the way it is. Do you never ever had nightmares in your life?

This game actually did come off as a nightmare in and of itself. I guess maybe people with self destructive personality disorder might actively search for things that are bad for them. I'm glad you enjoyed it, I respect others right to opinions as equally as I value my right to spew my personal ramblings off into the almighty Ether.

@M@yeulC: I think I was misunderstood. I'm not saying that the engine is not good.

It's just that it takes so much energy to learn a new engine each time you want to contribute to a new game.

I think my message is better suited for new games. Oh well..

Buy games from G2A? You should just stop already, tinyBuild lost out on approx $450K of sales
By Guppy, 22 June 2016 at 7:18 am UTC

I don't really understand the problem;

Link keys to their order id, that way if the customer cancels the order or it turns out the credit card was stolen you can cancel the key.

If they are mad that people are selling surplus keys / used games - well tough luck, the customer is well within his right to do that.

Obligatory car analogy; Just Imagine the uproar if the automotive industry tried to prevent you from selling your old car, or came out and claimed that used car dealers was costing them millions. ( by the same "magic accounting" presentent in the article they are )

I do the same thing, it makes it so much easier to find the new ports when they get released.

Never deleted a game from my library and I don't think I am going to do it, at least not anytime soon... but I really didn't know about this part, and I thank you for sharing this info.
