Quoting: liamdaweNew colours for the bars are up as suggested using a picked colour palette.
Graphs with a lot of bars look much better now. ;)
Maybe you can also create another palette for graphs with less bars.

Removed Hybrid Driver option as suggested, since it IS the closed driver.

Is it really relaxing and calm? The trailer looks more frantic and has that fast soundtrack, chill isn't exactly the impression it gives.

Added in an option to hide your PC info (no link to it, doesn't show on profiles), that way you can still be included, but be 100% anonymous. From a request in here.

I think they should add co-op. I'll probably play it anyways, I'll just be a bit more lonely.

Large XFS file systems use 64-bit inodes, which don't fit in 32-bit data structures used by 32-bit software. It is a known XFS problem. If you run 32-bit applications on XFS (many games are 32-bit), you need to make sure you use 32-bit inode when you create the filesystem.

Judging by videos, game looks quite interesting, it also has some gorgeous graphics to show. Weird that they didn't put steamos icon to it.

Oke i discovered that the issue I'm having (not launching) is because my HDD is formatted as XFS. Apparently Dying Light had the same problem. Weird as all my other steam games have no issues whatsoever.

[Edit]So if you are using XFS hold off on purchasing the game until they release a fix or when you want to change to a different filesystem.

Recording this is pain. It turns off forcecompositionpipline, makes the screen tear and still gets huge fps hit when recording even with nvenc. same thing as with Dying Light. Without recording FPS is pretty much locked to 60 fps all the time on maxed settings, motion blur off and chromatic abberation disabled. Really Great Performing game.

Want to make Terraria on Linux faster? FNA creator Ethan Lee has a script to help with that
By lucifertdark, 31 May 2016 at 5:51 pm UTC

Nice script, works on all the other games I have that use FNA but not Terraria, it just kills it totally since the latest update of the update of the 1.3 update.

So, be sure to activate the keys from a Linux OS and play the first hours of the games in a Linux OS.

Mainly that.

Fixed!

Is that proof enough? Besides the several users already reporting that it works on GNU/Linux (including Liam himself) and this video showing it being run on SteamOS ;)

Thanks for the info... Purchasing as a gift for new 100% Linux Steam account. :)

After watching the video, youtube suggested me Night Train, by Louis Prima and I got distracted

Quoting: sevendoes it fix the crashing of the game on ubuntu 16.04?

We don't have any open issues with 16.04 and XCOM 2. As long as your hardware and drivers match the min specs on Steam then you'll be fine.

Crashes are usually caused by incorrect drivers so that's the first thing to check.

I don't have the Assets_XXX folder or any .mp files & the game is working fine, I've just spent the best part of the last hour cracking zombies over the head with a paddle, lots of fun. :D Riptide follows the survivors of the first game on a different island.

Great to hear that it is running so well for others, but it for me it crashes on startup with the message:

Materials database was not correctly initialized. Please make sure that global_*.mp are present in Assets_XXX (platform specific) folder or build Data folder.

Anyone else with the same issue? (i didnt get the riptide edition, what is different, the storyline?)

Quoting: leillo1975If I buy definitive edition bundle at this time, the game counts like a Linux purchase?
Probably not simply because Linux is not officially supported at this time.

Devs see the OS the game was purchased on regardless of if a port for that system exists.

When the game is ported by the same company the issue isn't as important. The issue is more important when the Linux version of the game was outsourced by a different company as depending on the contract of how profits are shared might depend on the total Linux sales from X date.
