Quoting: NeoTheFoxOooh, exciting! I wonder how well that goes, especially since coming off OSX he should feel more comfortable with a terminal already

I have my doubts. Looking at the astronomy forum I'm in, usually the Mac people are even more reluctant than Windowers to do anything command line / terminal....

I do own it, but bought it at ShinyLoot, one of the nice gamestores killed by Steam.
Maybe a reason to re-buy at GOG (if the update shows up there at some point). The game's definitely worth that

Quoting: DuncWhen I think back to the early '90s: The Settlers, Dune 2, Civilization, A-Train, Transport Tycoon, Theme Park... we always remember the action games like Doom and SF2, but what a golden age for strategy/management games.

Yes, Civilization I remember well. Civ: Call to Power (for Linux) CD from Loki is in the bookshelf next to me, and was (IIRC) the first commercial linux game I fully played through :D

Quoting: DuncThat reminds me a little of Deflektor, which I played near-obsessively back in the day.

Had a similar idea, but was thinking of Deflektors open-source clone mirrormagic that I'd been playing in the 90s (yes, on Linux)

Hmm, I'll probably buy this, to support them. It does indeed look very nice.
But I likely won't play (much) before it's finished. Tried that once or twice, but I rather have a finished thing to play in one go.....

Now I only need to find the time to play it
