It's a silly pointless game, not really worth your time. It's got nothing to say and says it boringly.

This would have been an awesome bundle, were it not for the fact that most of these games were recently available in Humble Monthlys. I believe Humble is unloading their unsold Steam keys in this bundle. Excellent value for those who don't already have most of these games, but I'm not among them.
GOG giving away Blacksad: Under the Skin during their Halloween Sale

I would recommend the game to the fans of the comic book only. It is competently made, but has nothing really to set it apart from other games. The detective aspect is so-so implemented, the characters are meh, the gameplay is seen before done better. I completed the game recently, so at least it kept me interested enough to finish it, but it wouldn't be a waste if I didn't.

Quoting: dvdQuoting: soulsourceThe Blacksad game is quite good, though they might have overdone it a bit with the (sometimes not so) unexpected twists.
It had some minor technical issues with Proton when I played it, but nothing critical.
I honestly don't know how I've never heard of this game since it was released. First giveaway that got me genuinely excited.

I just got it for The Forgotten City, the rest is going on the trade pile. I'm a fan of time manipulation games, so I expect this game should be right up my alley. I believe I would have liked Outer Worlds too, had it not been so comfortable with wasting my time, I'm not able to rewind that clock and get my own time back, that works only in the game.

Mystery adventure Kona II: Brume gets a Linux demo ready for Steam Deck

No. Good games guide you towards what they want you to discover. In Kona, there is a magnet that you don't know that you need, hidden behind a house that you have no reason to go around back. That's just bad game design. That's how adventures from the early days of gaming used to work, no wonder that genre all but disappeared.

Isn't that a "problem" with all games?!

I knew this one is coming after itch.io did the same, but unfortunately, I've skipped both bundles because I already own everything from the bundles that I cared to play. There are other ways I can donate money for Ukrainian relief efforts, or I could simply pass some money to a refugee.

Merry Christmas you all! I've decided I'm going to be less cheap than usual this year and got myself three games today, Wasteland 3, Outer Wilds and Titanfall 2. As I see that this winter is looking like another lockdown, I've decided to get myself something to keep me entertained.
