DiRT Rally 2 runs so much better now. I have to relearn how to handle the cars because of the input lag when using an old Proton that didn't have the server connection issue. Awesome!

50% off right now. Extremely good game and it's fun to watch your friends runs. Not to be missed.

What just happened? Gotta say that it was intriguing.

Thanks. I have had to use this as well when running a 120hz monitor and a 60hz.

Looks awesome and runs great with mostly maxed settings on a GTX760. Now to figure out why it doesn't detect an XBOX 360 controller on Mint 18.1 where other games do. To be fair, it does warn that it is only tested on Ubuntu 16.10.

NVIDIA 378.09 beta driver released, adds OpenGL threaded optimizations by default and more

A little slower and introduced some issues. Planetary Annihilation: TITANS and Insurgency would hang for a second here and there. Reverted back to the 375.26 driver and everything went back to normal. Maybe a bit early for this one.

I run Linux Mint 18 with a GTX 760 and noticed slight improvements without any crashes. GPU_test showed about 5 frames a second better in all tests but furmark. American Truck Simulator, GRID Autosport, Insurgency, CS:GO, Cities: Skylines ran a slight bit smoother but I can't prove it. 375.20 has been great so far. Thanks for posting about the new driver.

Make sure you play 'Gone Home' this weekend, as it's free for a short time

I downloaded this game during the free weekend and just had a chance to try it. Refreshing to see this kind of interactive storytelling. Really enjoyed it, thanks for the recommendation.

I put it on my steam wishlist in case there was a sale. 85% off this weekend so picked it up and can't stop playing it. First Linux game that respects my 120hz monitor. Most cut the frame rate to 60 or less with vsync turned on. I can't stand screen tearing! Plays extremely smooth and the sound effects really draw you into the experience. Thanks for this article and all of GOL!
