The 'ARK: Aberration Expansion' is due out in December

I admit, I am a Ark fanboy.

With all its flaws, and there are many. What Liam says about Ark is all true. But I love this game. I play the crap out of it and will be purchasing this expansion.

One of Valve's choices of games to highlight for Steam Machines is more than a little silly

Some thoughts on Castle Story, the voxel-based strategy game

Nor MantisThis is the only game I have ever refunded. This was last month, it didn't run on arch at all.
That's usually more of an Arch problem, really.
I mean, what lucky game DOES run there...
It is a very bad idea to run Arch and expect stuff to actually work there.

You are right about it being an Arch thing in this case. I have 84 games in my steam list all run fine on Arch. I will continue to use Arch for gaming, 1 out of 84 ratio for me is OK. If you haven't tried it you should, Arch FTW!

This is the only game I have ever refunded. This was last month, it didn't run on arch at all. There is a bug report on their tracker but since arch is not officially supported they said we were out of luck. So I refunded it.

ARK: Survival Evolved updated with the latest 'Unreal Rendering code', still terrible on Linux

I still hold this game in a positive light. Not defending it. It does have a lot bugs and glitches with the Linux client. That being said it still the most played game in my library. I still have hope its all going to work out.

Cities: Skylines - Concerts DLC released along with a big patch
17 August 2017 at 7:56 pm UTC

Love this game, picked up the Concert DLC. Played 710 hours so far and going to start a new city tonight!

I get bad performance when using mods and assets from the workshop. The more mods and assets the worse it gets. In my vanilla games it runs well. I create my own assets and avoid the workshop. When I start getting huge cities the game will dip down to 30 fps when the camera is focused in on a busy section. I think there is a memory leak or something. FPS can get really bad after a long play session. I reboot the game and it clears up. I just play vanilla games now with my own assets and find the performance is good.

As for the DLC, Colossal Order could release crap in a bag with Cities Skylines written on it with crayon and I would happily buy it.

ARK: Survival Evolved has just had a price increase, it has more than doubled

I love this game, even in its current state... But my defending it is over. I just hope they fix all the bugs.

Planetary Annihilation: TITANS updated and still alive, adds new free commanders and more
21 June 2017 at 10:12 pm UTC

coolboberIn my opinion PA is the best RTS for Linux. Off course I'm still playing it.

I really like PA, dumped 75+ hours into it, have not tried Titans yet but I will eventually. I agree with coolbober, if I am looking for a classic RTS style game I am going for PA:T.
