I log on to Origin when they give out free games in hopes of a future Linux release. That's about it with them.

Itch.io is really growing on me. I recently purchased a game to show my support towards a dev. The amount of freeware that is available and working is a good catch. They also have multiplayer versions of games that are either single player only on STEAM or only allow 2 to 4 players while itch.io offers up to 8 players.

There are a lot of devs on there using Linux too. I hope that it gets even more support.

How To: An update on fixing screen-tearing on Linux with an NVIDIA GPU

I am on 367.45 driver on my main gaming rig. I've had no visual tearing but this is due to using Compton on Ubuntu Mate 16.10 64 bit with some startup settings enabled.

I bought the game but quickly got a refund. I like it a lot but there is a serious problem in the game. When you play a team based match and one team gets the lead - the other team can stay in the safe room and spam nades til time over. It happened many times in my brief time in the game. So I went back to deathmatch til a friend got the game and we tried team based games again and it was being done. Players camping out in the safe room and popping out to kill attackers with nades and going back in.

Perhaps a no camping penalty needs to be implemented.

It's on my wish list. These are the type of games I love. Right now, I am concentrating my gaming time with my boys on rocking "Mother Russia Bleeds." This one will be next for my LAN parties on Sundays.

What one game would blow your mind if it came to Linux & SteamOS?

For me it would be the modern Street Fighter series IV, V, x Tekken.

Windows is not a choice for me. Been on Linux for over 10 years and STEAMOS is a great choice for my family and myself. I did not buy any of the STEAMOS machines but I got the controllers and it's been dope!
